Here is a recording i made of my kitchen hob igniting. I used a lighter to ignite the gas instead of the built in igniter as i didn't want the 'click click click" to ruin the recording of the flame. Sennheiser mkh 416 - sound devices 442 - tascam dr680. .
Quiet water dripping from a kitchen sink tap, with a rate going from approximately 99bpm down to 94bpm by the end of the recording. Captured with my smartphone's voice notes app. There's also some human voices in the background, possibly from another room or a tv.
Taken at about 8am on a friday in my home kitchen in los angeles, ca. I used a tascam dr-07mk2 recorder. I simply picked up my keys from the counter and put them back down.
Various kitchen noises. I recorded this while making foley for a film recently. It's intentionally roomy and captured from medium distance which was the position of the listener. There's no significant background roomtone (no traffic, fridge hum or voices), just the exagerated cutlery movements, glasses and cups clingings, water sink, cabinets, fridge door and stuff. Rubbing my finger across a kitchen knife. The knife has a smooth part and a part with little indents, so there are sounds with each sample. Recorded with my lumix g7 camera with rode video micro attached to it.
Prepare tea: open metal can, rustling tea leaves fall into a strainer, boiling water is poured in, the kettle is turned off again. Recording with tascam-dr05, post-processing in garageband and audacity.

Recording of a bosch refrigerator. Recorded and processed at 24bit 96khz using the tascam dr-40 linear pcm recorder. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else.
Kitchen cleaning and espresso machine cleaning: over several minutes you hear the cleaning of an espresso machine, cleaning all the metal parts of it and working with water and sponges. Recorder: zoom h4n with the internal mic on 48khz with 24bit.

Ambience recording in a poor family kitchen in san francisco libre, nicaragua. You will hear: a spoon stearing the stew, water, chicken, cock, hi-fi sounds, dishes, man singing, cricket, and a cars passing far away.
Six or so ticks, then a single ding! as the timer goes off. Timer removed from an infra chef halogen oven during repair. Recorded with "voice notes" on an iphone and edited with "amadeus pro" on a mac, but don't hate it for that.
These bottle caps were hurled rapid-fire at a leaning tower of jugs in my kitchen. I recorded this using an akg condenser mic, and an m-box interface. These sounds were effected in protools with flanger, delay, and reverb.
